You can now use your Sims3.com avatars as sims on the signatures - However, at the moment they will have a white background to them. I am still trying to remove this ready for the next release. If you want to try it out (You may need to clear your temp files), click 'Sim' in the editor, click 'Custom Sim' and then type in your Sims3.com username and click save. Please remember to delete any signatures you have already made though!

You want a different Sim rather than your Sims3.com avatar? Well, temporarily change your Sims3.com avatar to the sim you want, generate your signature then change your avatar back, or type in the username of the person who has an avatar of the sim you want to use.

Amaranth has yet again created a stunning lot for The Sims 3, this time called, Rosa's Modern Living; Rosa's Modern Living is a nice "modern" small house perfect for a not so big family. It's also great for just married couple.

Some more advertisements for The Sims 3 have been spotted across france and this time feature on a coach and a subway train, these advertisements appear appealing to the eye and feature a very attractive design, this is certainly a good move for EA in attracting mass audiences, sadly this idea hasn't been adopted in the UK.

A new patch is available that updates your game to version 1.2.7. To install the patch, simply open up the launcher and follow the instructions that appear. Here is a complete list of changes.

Addresses some issues with Speed 2 and 3 moving too slowly. Some machines will have better results when using Speed 2 and 3 now. Fix to story progression on/off selection toggle. Fix for a possible crash with audio code. Fix for babysitter routing off lots with babies. Addresses some issues with Vsync and refresh rate problems. Addresses some issues with DVD authentication errors and drive compatibility on startup. This update deals with some issues on Mac systems that can crash the game while connecting to AFP servers. Fix for a freeze that can occur when Sims attempt to clean out bad food from the fridge.
